These Are Great For Halloween Parties!

Most of you know me as the Affiliate Review Guru here but I also do other things aside from sitting in front of the computer with my techie "how to" do stuff. When I am not doing tutorials on affiliate marketing, I am creating baked goods and doing tutorials on that as well. :) I know, I can't sit still for more than 5 minutes. Seriously....

So, I am on a cupcake and cake pop mission for the next few weeks for Halloween!

Here are all of the make up procedures on how to do these tasty little ghost cake pops.

What You Will Need To Create the Ghost Cake Pops:

  • Vanilla Cake (baked and cooled)
  • Lemon pudding
  • Flake Coconut
  • Cake Icing
  • Pop Sticks
  • White Chocolate
  • Black Food Color
  • Blue Food Color
  • Red Food Color
  • Styrofoam Block
  • Your Imagination :)
  • Parchment paper
  • Double boiler or Crock Pot

Directions For Ghost Cake Pops

  1. Bake Vanilla Cake. You can either use a box mix or one from scratch
  2. When cake has cooled, remove the skin layer from the top so you do not get any dark spots in your cake pop dough.
  3. You will mix in 3.5 oz of pudding, about 1/2 cup of flake coconut and 1/2 cup of icing
  4. Start forming ghost out of the cake dough
  5. Place in freezer or refrigerator until dough is firm for dipping
  6. Once the dough has firmed up, insert cookie stick in the bottom of the ghost form
  7. Dip the ghost pops in melted white chocolate and insert in styrofoam block to hold them upright
  8. With black icing, pipe on the ghosts eyes, mouth and eyebrows
  9. Pipe on center of eyes using blue icing
  10. Pipe on tongue using red icing
